Raymond Gubbay

Thank you for your interest in my "Language Trainer Profile".

I am a native Londoner and certified English teacher (Trinity College London). For the past eight years, I have been successfully running my own English language school, as well as two translation companies in Essen, Germany. What is more, I also have a keen interest in “NLP” (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and regularly attend seminars on the subject in England. My last NLP certificate announces me as a “Certified Business Practitioner”.

For the past 9 years, I have been developing and improving skills and modules to help enable, mainly German, learners of English at various levels to maximise their potential and performance, with the aim for them to quickly and successfully acquire and use the English language as a communication tool for both business and pleasure.

Although there are many theories as to how one successfully acquires a second language, it is generally agreed that simplicity, fun and advancement are key factors. With this in mind, I set about to devise English training Skills – Models – Strategies that promote and help deliver teaching and learning satisfaction for both trainer and student.
